Mata Kalavati is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working in the field of disability. The institute is organizing a therapy center to provide assistance to disabled people, which includes many types of therapy, in which some of the main therapies are as follows-
Physiotherapy-
Mata Kalavati Handicapped Education Institute conducts physiotherapy under the guidance of a proper therapist. This type of therapy includes exercise, manual therapy and the use of assistive devices to support rehabilitation.
Vocational Training-
The main identity of every adult is his occupation. Professional work creates a unique identity for a person. All kinds of productive activities come under professionalism. Employment is an activity through which a person benefits himself and others. Employment can be done at home as well as outside the home. Employment is a regular and fixed daily work. The work and work area of each person can be different. Different training is provided to a person for different types of occupation.
Speecch Therapy-
Speech therapy is organized by Mata Kalavati Handicapped Education Institute. Speech therapy is a type of treatment. Through which speech related problems of handicapped children are improved. Through speech therapist, children are taught speaking, listening etc.
Auditory Verbal Therapy-
Auditory verbal therapy is organized by Mata Kalavati Handicapped Education Institute. Through auditory verbal therapy, hearing impaired children are helped to develop their speaking and listening skills.
ABA Therapy-
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy) is organized by Mata Kalavati Handicapped Education Institute. This is a special type of therapy. Its main objective is to improve the behavior of children with autism or developmental disabilities. In ABA Therapy, positive actions are done to promote good behavior and reduce bad behavior.
