Cochlear implant is recommended by Mata Kalavati Handicapped Education Institute. If a child has difficulty in hearing or cannot hear at all, then this is a serious problem, a solution to this problem is necessary, if a child cannot hear even after wearing a hearing aid, then cochlear implant is the best option for him. After it is fitted in the ear, the hearing problem goes away. Subsidy is also given by the government for cochlear implant. At some places, cochlear implant is done free of cost by the government. All schemes related to handicapped children by the Government of India are free.
